The guy who just sold the $600 tiki bowl from the Lanai restaurant in San Mateo has listed this original Tiki carving from the Lanai - starting bid $2,250! He must have been impressed by the price of the bowl.

That design was reproduced in fiberglass, see it in the BOT in the Backyard Polynesia chapter, and in Tiki Modern surrounded by the Kahiki waitresses. It is nice wood and an impeccable heritage, yet the design is not rare.
