A Hot Time on the Ol' Tahitian Terrace Tonight...

Just came across this marvelous bit of vintage video from Disneyland's Tahitian Terrace --

Ah. This is exactly how I remember the show. The women looked grim while the first group of hula dancers did a number, then brightened up considerably when the buff fire dancer came onstage and lit up the scene. Everybody ultimately gets into the spirit of things...

Man, do I miss this at DL. But it's fun to see it again here!

This is on the Disneyland archives DVD (forgot the name).

It's from the Walt Disney Treasures presents "Disneyland USA" dvd.....I enjoy this scene from the dvd most, but the whole dvd is a must have for the Disneyland Purist, or those who miss the golden days of Disneyland! There is another part where Satchmo performs on the Mark Twain....pure class, and pure classics!
