I was forwared this clipping from an old magazine add from my boss. Thought it was interesing.

That is great! I love "HEATHEN IDOLS" in all caps, and nowadays "TIKI ON A THONG" would mean something different.

Great ad, love the bold, bright "barbaric colors".
So the ad says that "...millions of TV viewers have each week seen the tiki good luck charm worn by the romantic Sea Captain."
What show are they referring to?

Romantic Sea Captain? The only show that came to mind was Adventures in Paradise.

I wish we could, but with todays high demand on testing by Consumer Product Safety Commission. I don't think that "Jewellers Metal" would pass the certification program :P
