eBay Description Revises History!!

Check out this auction. The seller points out that they believe this "rare" mug was made in occupied Japan, which "would set it back to about the 30's or before"!
Hmmm....you know, I never made very good grades in history, but I'd swear that World War II wasn't over, and Japan subsequently occupied by the U.S. until around 1945 or so. And who among you knew that tiki mugs were around in the 30's??
