"Tiki Lounge Five-O" returns on Saturday, April 26th for an evening
of Tiki Gods and Exotica at La Mariana's!

Please join us in celebrating the life, music and legacy of
internationally renowned composer Martin Denny in a magical “Exotica
Kingdom” preserving days gone by...

La Mariana’s Sailing Club, originated in 1955 by owner Annette La
Mariana Nahinu remains today as it first did in the golden days of
Paradise. The beauty and nostalgia of it’s decor along with the
timeless music of Martin Denny, makes this is a special event not to
be missed...

The evening will kick off with a very special guest appearance by
Martin Denny himself between 10pm and 11pm. Get there early since Mr.
Denny is rumored to delight the audience with “a few” songs from his
upcoming CD releases “The Intimate Martin Denny” and “Dining With
Martin Denny.” Two of the songs featured at this event will be his
trademark “Quiet Village” and “I’ll Love You Forever and Ever” a
sweet serenade in ode to his lovely wife...We will also be featuring
some of Mr. Denny’s previously unreleased recordings from his
upcoming release “Baked Alaska” which features recordings from a live
radio broadcast in 1964. This is an event not to be missed by Martin
Denny fans young and old!

Following Mr. Denny will be the “infamous” Tiki Lounge Five-O revue featuring:

The vintage surf sounds of The King Pins Live!
Willow Chang starring as “The Huli Huli Hula Girl”
DJ’s Ginger and Mary Ann delighting the crowd with the best in
Exotica, Tiki Gods, Retro Hawaiian, Surf, Secret Agent Man and
Hawaii-Five-O!

Special surprise guests including:

“Blue Hawaii Elvis” and DJ Professor!

TONS of merchandise and event giveaways from “tikitrader.com” plus
live event recording for upcoming broadcast by “tikitv.com”! Play a
game of Hawaii Five-O trivia for prizes or shop for some Tiki’s at
“The Enchanted Tiki Booth” or maybe just sit ‘n sip on one of our

I may not be able to make it to this event in Hawaii, but I am excited about the new Martin Denny releases - especially the 'Baked Alaska' one of an unreleased radio broadcast.

Does anyone know if the 'Intimate Martin Denny' and 'Dining With Martin Denny' are also made up of new material? or are they made up of tracks from past LPs.

When will these CDs be made available for sale?

By the way, Martin Denny celebrates his 92th birthday tomorrow- on April 10th.
