It was an awesome launch, everything seemed to come together perfectly this time. TONS of people at the banana creek location, some folks sitting near us were "joe public" folks who paid the $20 to get onto the causeway, but they must have expected so few invited guests of nasa friends/family that they brought them to the other section. Watched it streak into the upper atmosphere from my driveway. Actually saw the flash when they kick it into gear (or ejected the boosters?)!! [ Edited by: AlohaStation 2009-07-16 13:22 ] |
