3. “Something to Live For,” The 1939 song by Duke Ellington and Billy Strayhorn from the 1962 Johnny Hodges LP: The Eleventh Hour, featuring the orchestra arranged and conducted by Oliver Nelson, featuring Ossie Johnson on Drums, taken from the CD: Buenes Aires Blues With Lalo Schifrin.

4. “Bye-Bye Blues” by Esquivel and His Orchestra from the 1960 LP: Infinity in Sound, Volume 2.

5. “Sea-Spray (Speed Boats)” by Bob Thompson from his 1960 transportation-themed LP: The Sound of Speed, performed by the Orchestra Dei Concerti di Roma.

6. “Cairo Bazaar” by Les Baxter and His Orchestra from his 1959 LP: African Jazz.

7. “N'Ga (The Maiden)” composed by Earle Hagen and performed by Tak Shindo on his 1958 LP: Mganga! taken from the collection: Return to Paradise: A History of Exotica.

12. “Simoom,” referring to a dry Middle Eastern wind that carries clouds of dust and sand, performed by The Creatures from their 1989 recording: Boomerang, featuring Siouxsie Sioux sharing Vocals with her husband Budgie, who also handles Drums and various other instruments.
