Hank Williams playing Hawaiian Music

I've been listening to the Hank Williams boxset 'The Complete Mothers Best Recordings' - and was pleasantly surprised to hear Hank and his band play a Hawaiian song titled 'Paradise Island' ...... even better is to hear him and his band afterward joking and talking about 'The Hawaiian War Chant' This is from 1951

That is really something. I am a big fan of Williams and recently ended up with a bunch of 78s. Does this mean Nelstone's Hawaiians are tiki?
