Thanks for the detailed info!

Jeff Killer Line up as always, thanks for the tip of the one week "Surf Guitar" / "Tiki Oasis" idea.
If you can't afford to do both gigs then do Surf Guitar and hang out at Tiki Oasis car show in the parking lot during the day and see The Kilaueas on Sat and Boss Fink on Sunday, Aug 16 & 17

Val and I are recent converts to the SG101 Festival (been to the last 2) but we already find it a "must do" as part of Tiki Oasis week. If you're on the fence about going, check it out. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Just added.

Sven Kirsten and Dominic Priore will be selling and signing
Copies of their new books at the Surf Guitar 101 convention.

Also in the vending room.
All of the bands involved will be selling music n shirts.
Three surf n garage record labels (dionysus,double crown, and
Musick) will be there selling everything they have.
And a couple specialty dealers with rare import music.
As well as the producers of the surf music documentaries,
Pounding surf and Reverb Junkies.

It's quite a rare chance to get such a gathering of goodies in one spot.
Come on down n bring yer wallet.

Let me put the above video into context. For all of his hard work and passion in promoting instrumental Surf Music, chiefly his SG101 Surf Convention, the community banded together to purchase Jeff a sorely needed laptop computer. The love, appreciation, and donations just kept rolling in so we were also able to buy him a round trip ticket to next year's Surfer Joe festival in Italy. I would say 20% of the contributors were people whom I would consider more Tiki than Surf (although you can be both !!). Thanks to everyone here who helped out.

It's taking me a while to catch up on TC posts, but thanks for another killer show with another killer lineup Jeff. Val and I always have a great time at the convention and I always walk away with a stack of great music.
