Bowl Drink

Pages: 1 2 replies

There once was a bar called the Tonga Island in Monroe, Louisiana. It was a cultural icon! They served a concoction called a 007. Does anyone outthere know how to make it? It was served in a Huge punchbowl with the long straws and had the lighted sugar cubes floating on orange slices on the top. I would appreciate your help

Hi Fandancer,
Remember, coming from a restaurant, they might have their own chemistry. There can be a thousand formulas for a single drink name, and vise versa.
Here are the two standard formulas I use (times four for a volcano bowl):

007

3 parts white rum
2 parts orange juice
1 part 7-UP

OR

2 oz Orange Vodka
2 oz Orange Juice
3 oz 7-Up

A Tiki Cheers To You!

"007"

1 oz. Gin

1 oz. Vodka

1 oz. Sweet Vermouth

1 oz. Brandy

Pour over crushed ice and add fruit.
