Tiki Dreams: From Far-Away Fantasy to Pop-Culture Phenomenon - Museum Party June 17, 2023

Learn how California’s iconic Tiki lounges and restaurants, including many in the Bay Area, inspired a global art and design movement. On exhibition May 20 through December 31, 2023. Curated by Baby Doe & Otto von Stroheim of Tiki Oasis, this exhibition illuminates California’s leading role in creating and defining Tiki as an American pop-culture phenomenon, showcasing artifacts from Northern California Tiki bars and restaurants, many of which have never been exhibited before.

We went to Tiki Dreams in Napa California. We highly recommend going. Walk through more than once because each time you will see things you missed.

I didn't miss that one of my Tiki Bob's from years past was on display. He's yellow because he only had nerve enough to wink and not to approach!

Right next door is Lakeside Grill at the Golf Course. Lovely views and great food. This whole day was special.
