Good morning, all!

Long time lurker. Turn 50 this year, decided it's about time to start doing things I've been putting off for years, so starting to build the knowledge and pieces for a Tiki bar in the corner of the basement of our 1959 ranch in Suburban Detroit.

I look forward to all of the info shared here, and appreciate what I've already learned.

Best of luck! It'll be a great escape from those Michigan winters

Thanks, arriano! That's the plan. :)

Welcome Ack Ack.

Aloha Ack Ack!

My Uncle Paul Paine (1925-2008) was co-owner of The Polynesian restaurant on Pacific Coast Highway in Torrance, CA circa 1957. It was a fabulous place, on over 2 acres. They hosted many luaus and other special events in their spectacular authentically designed large3 restaurant and beautiful gardens.
