Thanks to your brother-in-law, we now know that the decanter was called Mai Tai Joe! At least I hadn't seen the box that it came in before and didn't know what Trader Vic's called them, hence the Suffering Bastard nickname....it's neat to find out little things like that that are almost lost completely. I doubt if we'll see another boxed one for a very long time!
