New NYC Tiki Party

The Flatiron Lounge has launched a tiki party called Bali Hai on Sunday nights. They are featuring classic Trader Vic, and Don the Beachcomber cocktails as well as their own tropical originals. Julie Reiner, the house mixologist is from Oahu, Hawaii and really knows how to work with tropical fruits. The party will be every Sunday from 5pm to 2am at 37 West 19th St. between 5th and 6th Ave.

I'll be in the neighborhood the weekend of Aug. 20th. That sounds like fun.

We will be doing the party through September. So far we've had a great turnout. The cocktails were just written about in Time Out New York, so all of the tiki seekers have ascended upon us. Hope to see you there.
