chicago had about 40 people but NO specials whatsoever, we were paying the full $8 for mai tais and the management couldn't wait for us to leave...

but I just saw Camerons pics and oh boy you sons a be-aches in E-ville had a really good time...

Can you get your friends pix and post them here? We'd love to see them. They were nice folks, BTW.

The $1 Mai Tai specials promised did not materialize in Beverly Hills. We were offered a half price deal on Mai Tais, Hinky Dinks and appetizers, but Floratina had to practically get into a fight with the manager to get those. Still and all, a good time was had by all at the Beverly Hills Vic's.

I'll put Cameron's pics and a few of my own up on the TBRP today or tomorrow.

I also checked out Rock A Tiki afterwards, and had a long chat with the owner and the designer. Unfortunatley, you'll have to wait for Tiki Road Trip to come out this spring to get my full report...
