Trader Vic's Tokyo

Thanks for the advice. I guess I was looking for personal experiences. I'll probably end up giving them a call to see if we can just make a reservation without committing to a set meal. We usually go to Trader Vic's in Atlanta a few times each year and we always make reservations, but it usually seems unnecessary. Anyway, looking forward to making a few posts about it when we do.

My only experience was a late-afternoon on a Tuesday in 2018, but it was absolutely dead. Certainly no reservations needed.

We're going to Japan at the end of this month (May). We hope to get in for lunch on June 1 without a reservation. We'll see how it goes.

We'll be there two weeks later, so I can't imagine it'll be much different. Good luck and let us know how it was.

I'll be planning a trip to Japan sometime in 2025, primarily to visit the World's Fair in Osaka, and also intend to make it to Vic's while in Tokyo. Looking forward to everyone's reports.
