A few more big fish. Here's a photo of an Arapaima (called Paiche in Peru). I've seen a ten-footer leap just feet away from my canoe. I've also seen them swallow ducks whole. These are the tastiest fish I've ever had. Their meat is indescribably good - better than any other meat I've ever had, including lobster. |
