Purple Orchid, El Segundo, CA (bar) - Locating Tiki

The first couple of times were fun - I really enjoyed the drinks, and the pool tables, and making sure the jukebox was loaded with good songs. Everyone who works there is a real sweetheart and I totally admire the owners for putting together a tiki bar in El Segundo, but this past Saturday was a big let down. The satellite bartender had no idea what she was doing - I switched to straight tequila after she even blew a rum & coke. The regular bartenders usually have their act together, but the Mai Tais were off that night too - all sweet, no anything else. Maybe it was just a fluke?
