Thanks for the offer bro ... can I bring my rum collection with me?

Seriously, I'm still thinking this thing is going to swing north based on what I've seen in the past. I flew home from North Carolina one year, landed in Fort Meyers and rushed across the state because FLL was closed, and the storm took a sharp right just as it was approaching the coast. I was bummed because I ended up sleeping in some fleabag motel in Charlotte the night before because I missed the last flight of the night on the way back. Bottom line is that they don't know where it's going to hit until it hits. You batten down the hatches, pack in some water and peanut butter, grab a few extra batteries, fill the tank with gas, say a prayer to the ghods, and wait for it to pass. The way people are acting, you'd think they'd never done this drill before. That's what annoys me. One should never panic (except in the case of parasitic bot fly larvae infection - another thrilling adventure that doesn't bear telling over dinner).

Anyway, I don't think this thing is going to land here - but if I were Flounder, I'd be concerned.

Cheers Flounder!
