Octane, you're awesome. I think you've covered just about every facet of staining/finishing that I can think of, & I probably could come up with a few more questions if I tried real hard, but I better let you get back to carving. There's nothing like the trial & error method, & maybe I'll even go so far as to read the back of the can before I pick up the brush. I gotta get this thing carved first... I just like to plan ahead.
