It's about 8 pm here, Saturday night. We've had a few bands come through late this afternoon, dumping some rain and knocking a few branches down. The sky is turning a freakish pink color as I'm sitting here.
Orlando is supposed to start getting the worst of it around 2 am and the winds will keep blowing hard well into Sunday morning. I'm going to unplug my electronics (other than the Television) after this post and try to get back online tomorrow afternoon, if we have power.
That's a huge IF because 3,000 homes have already lost power in my county which is about 30 miles from the coast and the storm hasn't even hit land yet.
If you haven't guessed by now, the storm is hitting the old Outrigger Restaurant in Jensen Beach right between the eyes. It will be a miracle if it isn't under water already.
