Long ago from Mongolia to Austria was once one vast empire. Traces of it's influance can be found here and there. In unsophisticated backwater places Fremented Horse Milk (a very old Mongol tradition) is still quaffed. It's like fizzy yogurt, with a nice gymnasium finish. It does neutralize hot pepper burn in the mouth...but at such a cost. eeek |
