Hi all -
I just wanted to let everyone who is enjoying the Tiki Gardens CD/MP3s to know that Ernie Shreeves (who wrote the music to the Tiki Gardens theme & played throughout the album) has been informed by his son-in-law Bob, that he has quite a few fans here at Tiki Central! I also wanted to let you know that if you would like to make his day, you can drop Ernie a line, care of Bob at this address: Ernie Shreeves, care of Bob Dixon PO Box 40312 St. Petersburg, FL 33743-0312 They are also putting together a limited edition of the LP to CD, which will be signed by Ernie! Here’s Bob’s e-mail:

hey chris, your email found the right location. i am bob, ernies son-in-
law..basically what we are doing about the copied cds is this, there have been
many people mentioning the idea of sending money for the copied cds all ready
out and it is appreciated but nothing we are really asking anybody to do..right
now we are in the process of getting a cd of the lp out that will be limited to
300-500 signed and numbered by ernie at an affordable price, that way anybody
who wants a copy of it for their collection can have one and it will be
autographed as well. i think that if you or anyone else who has a copy of the
cd wants to do anything for ernie, maybe the best thing instead of money would
be to mail him a letter at our PO box letting him know you've enjoyed the
music...at age 71, it's really great for him to hear that so many people still
enjoy music he put out 35 years ago, he was very excited about it when i showed
him how much interest there still is in the music and tiki gardens. thanks

So, drop him a line if you have the time (especially if you got a free copy!). And make plans to buy a cd fom them - I know I will...
