Sitting around drinking in beautiful tropical surrounds with lovelies in grass skirts and coconut bikinis, need i say more.... It is also interesting from a sociological perspective on how a nation became intoxicated with an idealised/romanticised notion of a far away land. It is a reflection of the factors of both time and place and their interaction with the lives of the people of the time.
