Bong, you crack me up! I laughed for a half hour (must be really tired)
The International Palm Society had a Biennial meeting in Bangkok a few years ago and I could not go but the pictures they brought back were unreal.
This is the botanical garden that they visited, among many, they were very impressed and say it is a "not to be missed" park.

King Rama IX Royal Park The 200-acre park on Si Nakharin Road commemorates His Majesty King Rama IX's 60th birthday in 1987. It comprises extensive botanical gardens, and a building displaying the works and life of King Rama IX.

Doesn't the "King and I" story take place in Thailand?
