WOW, what a great weekend I had! Many cheers to Drunken Hat and Tikicleen for putting the Hoopty Hoopty Hoopty Hoopty in the Hoopty-lau. The event was so well organized and everything went super smoothly. Thanks to our designated hoopty-van drivers, Jungle Trader and Drunken hat, for getting our rum-laden hoopty-asses from point A to point Z safely. Thanx to Mr Smiley for making sure I didn't have any run-ins with the 'wrong crowd' at the Chalet. Actually, that place wasn't all that bad...only a few white unidentified crusty stains on the cigarette-burned chairs, some kind of stale musty potpourri smell, and for some reason my bath towel had "Dish Towel only" written on it with a Sharpie...at least MY room didn't drip water from the ceiling light fixtures all night! I can't wait to see everyone's pics (by the way, great pics TikiWoo!) So much happened but I don't want to spoil it by talking about it because the pictures will pretty much sum it all up! I'll try to get some of mine posted within the next coupla days. The dark marq room was inspiring! Jungle Traders' Whana Rei carvings were magnificent! I love the Hoopty-decal! Looks great on my jeep right under my "Got Tiki" sticker. The mugs are super cool too! Thanks so much to everyone. I hope everyone got home safely.
