What a great place!
The cocktails were wonderful - made with much skill and affection. They were happy to make up a Trader Vic's Mai Tai and a Don the Beachcombers version so we could taste the difference. When most bars can't even approximate a low-grade Mai Tai, this was very impressive.

Decor is much more 'Tiki Nouveau' than London's other Tiki Bars, and it works well. I look forward to seeing more of Cheekytiki's touches added, though.

I loved the place and wished I lived closer!

London's Tiki bars are all quite different and compliment each other nicely. Trader Vic's is the place to go for the full-on old-style Tiki experience (and pay for it). South London Pacific is where you go to let your hair down and get caught up in the crazed vibe and decor. Trailer Happiness is the one to go for to relax, soak up the great sounds, and check out their wonderful drinks.

Here's a few photos:

The wall of personal Munktiki shot glasses. You buy one, leave it there and get a discount every time you buy a shot in the future. I'm sure this paint is the same as the stuff on the walls of my Tiki basement. It looks fine in the gloom, but when you take a photo using a flash, it comes out looking weird and bright.

This barmaid was great - never let my glass hit empty - and she fit in with the decor too.
