The best was when the parrotheads came over to give us a pre-parade look over and to invite us to party with their group, and while checking out the mai-taicycles and commenting on how cool they were, one of them noticed the parrots hanging from the back: "Look! Parrots! You guys should join us for beer later! Wait! The parrots are hanging from a noose.... you hate parrotheads...!!" A few insulting remarks about Tikis & mai tais were uttered as they wandered back to their own side of the parade..... Many thanks to everyone who helped make the day so much fun! Thanks Tina for getting our group organized, and thanks to Tiki Gardener for hosting the after party. Next year....
