In my early days of collecting, my wife used to buy me stuff all the time thinking she was adding to my collection. I responded the exact same way - every time. She wisened up and stopped wasting time and money on stuff that's "not really tiki." Now, I just pickup my own birthday, anniversary and xmas gifts myself so she doesn't get it wrong - with no hard feelings on her part. She just asks, "So what did I get you for Christmas this year?"
