Oh my dads brother was stationed on Ford Island. He was in the army, and had just gotten married. My dad and him pulled strings and got his wife out on the first clipper plane that left for the states. I have a clipping of the marriage announcement. Unfortunately the brother was killed at the battle of Bastogne. TG |
