As far as I can tell, after going through nearly every Tucson phonebook, Tahiti was a restaraunt here from around 1976-1980ish. There is a strip mall sitting on its former location and those mugs are the only physical proof I have seen of its existence.

I haven't been able to find anyone who remembers the place but I have found enough of those mugs that someone out there MUST know more about it.
