The game is linear, but I never felt forced into going that one direction. The pacing and the scripted sequences are just perfect as well. My only gripes are the relative lack of weapons, and I had hoped to see alot more of the Barney and Dog characters. But other than that, this one replaces Half Life 1 as my favorite game.
