Japan always been full of ukulele player and lover. There is a lot of player there, and lots of good albums to get.
There's even a magazine dedicated to the 4 strings instrument : rolling coconut. Unfortunatly, there is no translation of it...

The star there is Jake Shimabukuro, who even made a dvd to help you to play the uke.

Anyway, I just got 2 compilation of Beatles songs played by (mostly) japanese on the uke. Those are really great, but I only found those on the japanese Amazon. Songs by Petty Booka, Herb Ohta jr, Iwao...
