"No person...shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself". However, one can be compelled to be a witness against another. Reporters from all parts of the political spectrum face this sticky wicket. What I found interesting in Novak's case was that the New York Times was more than happy to see him penalized until their own reporters ran afoul of the same issue on the same case. JTD
