I lean toward fondness for U2.

I liked the way the drums sounded like gunfire in Sunday Bloody Sunday.

I'm not a video fan, but I liked the one they did in Glitter Gultch in Vegas - kind of a visual vs. lyrical contrast thing.

I also admire how, even if I don't like a certain album, that they were brave enough to change their sound rather than grind out the same stuff every time.

That new IPod song is OK, my kids like it.

I'll say they pass the audition.
