HI, Zombie,
I wouldn't recommend "agricole rums" (rums made from sugar-cane juice instead of molasses) for sipping unless you're on the beach of Martinique. There are some exciting agricole rums like "Trois Rivieres" but they're rather expensive. Try a "Mount Gay Extra Old (Barbados)" or "Inner Circle (Australia)" Rum if you like the woody flavor.
