In particular a fellow named Philip Lanzafame (interim director of development services) His take is "updating facades and putting some investment into facades just makes for a better envronment." If anyone would like to contact him to express a divergent opinion, he can be reached at 818-548-2005. BTW someone asked whether the murals are E. Savage.
