Where can I get some wood? Koa, Mahogany, Nara... - Tiki Carving

I'm also a cabinet maker (by hobby), and I've used cherry and mahogany for some of the cabinets I've built in the past. I get some of this lumber at Reel Lumber http://www.reellumber.com here in So Cal. I know they're not up where you are but if you research cabinet making suppliers in your area they might be able to point you in the right direction. Oh, one more thing. From what I know, Koa is illegal to harvest so you'll probably have a big challenge getting some. Nara is its close cousin and should look similar when finished properly. Good luck -- and post pics.
