After a Grateful Dead show (gasp) at the fabulous Greek Theatre in Berkeley in the mid-1980s, my friends took me to Spat's on Shattuck, where I was introduced to tropical drinks. I remember drinking a Fog Cutter, sipping from a scorpion bowl, and puking my guts out the next day. |
