Most musicians don't own their own music. Prime example is The Sonics "Have Love Will Travel". They got screwed contracually by the owner of the label. So he gets rich, Range Rover sells product, and The Sonics get the short end of the stick. I don't believe in selling out, but it bugs me even more when someone appropriates my youth to sell product, and screwing musicians and artists while doing so. |
