To each his own. Mixology has always been more art than science, so exact measurements mean less than taste. Take martinis (my favorite non-tiki concoction), if you look at the recipe in any mixology book, there is way more vermouth called for than most martini drinkers like. Most martini drinkers like them bone dry. I happen to like my tiki drinks more sweet than sour, but that doesn't make it right. |
