The other thing I hate about carpool lines is when you are driving in one (yes, with another passenger), and some Ahole decides that they want to be in the carpool lane also - RIGHT NOW. So they jump into the carpool lane OVER** double yellow lines from a complete stop... and you're doing 55!!! I really feel nervous about that when I'm traveling quickly past traffic standing still. Do these people not know that you need to wait for the dotted line to get in? Oh, wait... they know, they just don't care. The "Me-First" thing is getting way out of hand.
