If you have Photoshop (or any editing tool that allows perspective tweaks), simply shoot your digital photo a little off-center, so the flash doesn't reflect straight into the image. Then in Photoshop, use the perspective tool to bring it back to a rectangular shape. If possible, have someone hold up a dark sheet next to you to block out any reflections of the room around you.
