Those of you who are interested in war planes of this era should check out the aircraft carrier USS Hornet, docked in Alameda. They have a number of planes (with folded wings!) displayed on the hangar deck and flight deck. Has anyone here taken a bay cruise on the Liberty Ship Jeremiah O'Brien? |
