Spring/Summer Happy Childhood Memories! - Bilge

The Fourth was always spent around a huge bonfire, which almost always got out of hand and the local fire department would come in with its antique fire engine. On the off years, we spent our summers trying to find ways to stay out of the heat of San Antonio. My main memory from SA is of fireflies. And, the seething, soothing sound of cicadas in the night.
