Sun, Dec. 15, 2002 We're very pleased to participate in this benefit concert for the University Area Community Center held in memory of the late Jimmy Michaelides, a much-beloved 10-year Skipper's employee. Do your karma some additional good and bring a new, unwrapped toy for the neighborhood's less fortunate kids. Bands run the range from blues to ska to surf to lounge to bluegrass to rock and include The Damon Fowler Group, Strangeways, Freight Train Annie & The Conductors, River Cove Ramblers, The Permits, The Vodkanauts, Diamond Gray, and Charas so there's definitely something for darned near everyone.
