Portland is a really neat city-which I have to admit was a bit of a surprise for me. It was always one of those places I drove by from here to there. But I just started with a new company that is based out of Portland, so I've traveled quite a bit there recently. Gruvy lil music scene...friendly people (even the homeless are friendly @:-) I stay at the Mallory Hotel in the Biz District, which I'm told is where "all the old people stay", but it is stunning. In the summer, they show old movies from the rooftop. Neat-O! I'm going to miss the crawl, but I'll be back for Xmas and tax free shopping...gotta love that!

Don't forget Fred Eckhardt's world famous Urinal Tour of Old Portland!
