The Sons of Hawaii were indeed a Hawaiian band in the truest sense of the word. Gabby Pahinu'i was so named because of his love for gabardine pants. David "feets" Rodgers was so named because of his agility on the football field. Most of the great Hawaiian musicians passed away in a financial state far from rich. |
