Here's an interesting site - a guy who tried to sail from the Florida Keys (Islamorada) to Cuba ..... in a outrigger. http://web.media.mit.edu/%7Etim/pix/cuba.html It is a lengthy and fascinating story, well worth reading. Oddly enough, he somehow ended up in Fort Lauderdale ..... surely the magnetic pull of the Mai Kai had something to do with it. Vern |
