Tiki Kiliki Productions presents another chapter of Tiki Torch Nights at the Mai Kai in Ft. Lauderdale, FL - Thursday 7/14. This month brings a "Blue Hawaii" feel as we enjoy the Rockabilly sounds of Slip and the Spinouts. For those of you that have never seen this band live, you are in for a treat. Rockabilly standards and originals are what you can expect, plus a few rockin' Hawaiian tunes - they have also been added as a featured performer at this years Hukilau 2005. Tiki Kiliki delights Florida ohana with a special guest from Atlanta's Burlesque Troupe - Dames A'Flame, the world famous Monkeyzuma!! Bananas isn't the only thing on Zumas mind - she takes a break from swingin' in the trees to dance it up to a couple of Hawaiian ditties. The night would not be complete without the Mystery Drink Raffle - $2 a ticket or 3 for $5. Raffle tickets not only buys you a chance for the Mystery Bowl, but drawings will be held all during the night as you also have a shot at winning Mai Kai drinks, various Tiki themed giveaways and copies of Tiki Kiliki's compilation Tikibilly, featuring Rockabilly and Klassic Kountry artists performing novelty Hawaiian songs!! Your chance to win a Tiki Carving from artist Will Anders might entice you to buy one of his $5 raffle tickets - tickets are limited to better the odds! Complimentary appetizers can be devoured from 8 - 9:30! Enjoy the sounds of Lounge, Exotica and Hawaiian Hapa Haole between sets and bring extra cash as vendors have great items for you to take home - Tikilicious is a local talent that you will be seeing more of at Hukilau 2005 as she designs the first Hukilau coloring book! She brings some of her unique creations to Tiki Torch Nights so save your pennies! Barking Barefoot Tikis will make their vendor debut bringing one of kind terra cotta Tiki Lanterns and like merchandise. Gods of Steel return with their Tiki lamps made from car parts - these guys will also take on any home decor challenge so put 'em to the test will ya!! And of course famed Miami carvers Kreepy Tiki will bring those amazing Tiki carvings that we all know and love! 7PM - midnight, $5 Admission and a live monkey - what more could you ask for??
